Code Masters, LLC is pleased to offer the Professional Medical Coding Curriculum (PMCC). This course was developed by the AAPC (American Academy of Professional Coders). Upon completion of this course students will be prepared to sit for the CPC (Certified Professional Coder) Exam. This curriculum covers reimbursement, comprehensive and accurate CPT4 and ICD9 coding for Medical procedures performed by physicians.

Enter the World of Medical Terminology. Learning this special language is an important step in preparing for your career as a health care professional. This class will introduce the student to basic human anatomy with an emphasis on medical terminology. With the use of root words, combining forms, prefixes, and suffixes students will be able to dissect a Medical Term easily.

This class can be completed in 5 short weeks. It is highly recommended that students take this class prior to the PMCC (Professional Medical Coding Curriculum).

Cost: $300

Duration: 2x per week for 5 weeks

This two and a half day review is intended for those who have extensive Coding background and need brief refresher for the CPC (Certified Professional Coder) Exam.

Cost : $395 CPC or CPC-H

Duration: 2 Saturdays

Saturday 1-Review of Exam Contents

We will discuss the exam application process, Exam content, Coding manual Highlights, Study Strategies and Sample Questions. (8-1:30pm)

Saturday 2-Mock Exam

Take a 5 hour simulated exam similar to the actual CPC/CPC-H exam. The test will be graded and the student will receive an individual report personalized to show your strengths and weaknesses. (8-1:30pm)

Weeknight (2 hrsTBD)

Come back to review exam answers and areas that you need to review. This session will be held the following week. Date will be announced in class.
